Nachhaltigkeit ist keine Erfindung unserer Zeit, entstammt sie doch im eigentlichen Sinn der Forstwirtschaft selbst. Nach dem Prinzip nicht mehr zu ernten als nachwächst, sorgte man auf diese Weise schon seit jeher auch für spätere Generationen vor. Bereits verwendetes Holz noch einmal zu verwenden, wie wir das mit unserem Altholz tun, sehen wir als Weiterentwicklung dieses wertvollen Gedankens. Aber auch bei der Beschaffung all der anderen Hölzer, welche wir zu Lamellen verarbeiten, legen wir großen Wert darauf, nur Rohstoff aus legaler und nachhaltiger Holznutzung zu beziehen. Wir sind daher besonders stolz darauf, die hohen Anforderungen von PEFC erfüllen zu können.
Sustainability is our core focus!
Sustainability is not an invention of our time, but it merely originates from forestry itself. In the past the principal to not harvest more than what can regrow has been adhered to in order to provide for future generations. We think that recycling wood that has already had a different purpose, just as we do it with our antique wood, is a further development of this precious thought. But also when purchasing all our other woods that we use for lamella production, we attach great importance to only buying raw material from legal and sustainable sources. Therefore, we are especially proud to fulfill the requirements of PEFC.
